Gávea kids beat Unifacisa, 99 to 47, in the LDB
In São Paulo, the match marked the beginning of the second phase of the competition
By Flamengo Communication - inOn Sunday morning (21), the Crias da Gávea debuted in the second phase of the Basketball Development League with a victory. The FlaBasquete U-19 team beat Unifacisa by a score of 99 to 47, at the Azul gym, at the Pinheiros headquarters, in São Paulo. The match was broadcast live on FlaTV.
Point guard Matheus Leoni led the way with 18 points and eight assists. Rafael Rachel, with 8 points, was also a standout. In the first stage of the competition, held in Uberlândia in late July, the Mais Querido team won three games and lost one.
The LDB continues this Monday (22) and the Crias da Gávea face São José, at 11:15 am. Following the competition, Flamengo faces Pato Basquete (day 23, at 9 am), Pinheiros (25, at 18 pm), Mogi (26, at 15:45 pm) and São Paulo (27, at 13:30 pm). All matches will be broadcast live on FlaTV.
