Gávea's children beat Sport and are in the semifinals of the CBI U-18

The red-black team dominates the match from start to finish and seals the classification

This Thursday (22), at Tijuca Tennis Club, the Crias da Gávea achieved another triumph in the Brazilian Interclub Championship Under-18. Facing Sport, the red-black team won by a score of 72 to 32 and advanced to the semifinal of the competition. Magno was Mengão's top scorer with 13 points. João Vittor (10), João Cesar (8), Joãozinho (7) and Ruan (7) also stood out. 

The game began with the red-and-blacks dominating the game. With a strong and efficient rotation, the team led by coach Rodrigo Galego dominated from the opening minutes and gained a significant lead. At the halftime whistle, the Mais Querido (Most Beloved) team led 40-12. 

On the return leg, Sport converted a few three-pointers and tried to rally, forcing the red-and-black coach to stop the game. With a few adjustments, Flamengo came out even stronger in the final quarter and sealed FlaBasquete's qualification. Final score: 72-32.
