Semifinals between Flamengo and Mogi have confirmed dates
José Neto and Marcelinho talk about the confrontation
By Victor Cachoeira - inThe dates for the NBB 10 semifinals have been set! Flamengo faces Mogi das Cruzes on April 28th, May 4th and May 6th. In the first game of the series, on Saturday (28), FlaBasquete will travel to Mogi das Cruzes and face the São Paulo team at 2 pm at Ginásio Professor Hugo Ramos. The game will be broadcast on TV Band and Sportv.
In an interview with the Official Website, coach José Neto commented on the dispute of yet another semifinal in charge of Mais Querido.
"The playoffs are always close, and the semifinals are even more so. Mogi arrived with a lot of merit and is a team built to compete for the title. We expect it to be a very close match, but we'll take it one game at a time. In our first away match, we have to be very focused to achieve everything we've trained for this week," said the coach.

The coach then made a technical analysis of the Mogi team, Rubro-Negro's opponent in two other semifinals of past editions of the NBB.
"Mogi has shown throughout the season that they thrive when playing at home. They feel very well supported by their fans, and we know they're coming into this game motivated by their away win against Caxias. I'm sure they'll try to play to their strengths, exploiting the opportunities on the outside with Shamell, Larry, and even Tyrone. On the inside, Wesley has been doing a good job, making the team very consistent, with great versatility. We have to be prepared for all situations to avoid surprises," he concluded.
Captain Marcelinho Machado knows the match well, and about to play his last semifinal with the Manto Sagrado, he spoke about his expectations for the series.
"We expect a very tough series. Mogi has been having a great season, with a consistent Liga das Américas performance and playing very well. They had a very good series against Caxias, but our team is prepared and we know what we have to explore in this match. We are clear-headed and confident for the semifinals, and it's important to be aware of the difficulties we will face. The first game is very important for you to stake your claim, and it's with that mentality that we go there," declared the captain.
