Davi Rossetto talks about reuniting with Basquete Cearense and winning the NBB
Player was applauded by local fans before the match in Fortaleza

Returning to the Centro de Formação Olímpica gym in Fortaleza after leaving Basquete Cearense to join Flamengo, the player heard the local fans shout his name and still achieved an important 73-54 victory in the debut of Novo Basquete Brasil 11. After the match, the number 5 spoke about the feeling and made an analysis of the confrontation.
"It's a special victory. I have a huge affection for the team, the fans, the city. But that needs to be put aside from the moment the ball goes up. There will always be respect and admiration, but I'm defending other colors and, being competitive as I am, I'll help my teammates who are with me every day. Now it's Flamengo," said Davi.
"It was an excellent debut, and our team played the way they like. It was aggressive, intense basketball; we had the intelligence to capitalize on the positives. Now it's time to improve on what we did well today, as we'll improve throughout the competition to reach the playoffs with the best basketball possible. We need to analyze what's good and what's bad to continue our upward trajectory," he added.
Flamengo returns to the courts next Monday (15), when they face Brasília at the Nilson Nelson gymnasium at 20 pm.
