Decided in overtime and with excitement until the end, FlaBasquete beats Pato 110-103 away from home

This time, Orgulho da Nação defeated Pato Basquete 110-103 on Tuesday night (3), at the SESI Pato Branco gymnasium, in a duel decided in overtime. For the red-black side, Gui Deodato was the highlight with 22 points scored. Now, Orgulho da Nação returns to Rio de Janeiro to face Brasília, next Saturday (7).

1st Bedroom
Mengão's first three-pointer came from a well-placed shot by Shaq Johnson. The American then converted two free throws, scoring the first five points of the game for the red-and-blacks. The start of the quarter was evenly matched, with the teams alternating the lead. In the final seconds, Gui Deodato scored two three-pointers, giving the Pride of the Nation a one-point lead: 29-28.
2st Bedroom
With Balbi on the court, the Argentine found a beautiful assist for Jordan Williams to convert a three-pointer. On the other hand, Pato continued to play hard and regained the lead. The red-and-black team, in turn, made numerous offensive errors and wasted points. With just over two minutes remaining, Jhonatan Luz hit a shot from the dead zone and put Mengão back in front. With an excellent performance, Gui Deodato converted another three-pointer, helping the red-and-black team maintain their lead: 55-51.
3st Bedroom
After halftime, the Pride of the Nation continued to score. Alexey scored a two-pointer and then a three-pointer. Defensively, the red-and-black team worked well, making it difficult for the opponent to penetrate the field. With another three-pointer, Gui Deodato reached 19 points, putting in a great performance. In the final seconds of the period, Shaq Johnson converted two free throws and kept the Mais Querido ahead: 79-76.
4st Bedroom
In the final period, the home team fought back and tied the game, making the match thrilling. In a crucial moment, Alexey hit a three-pointer, increasing the red-and-black lead to five points. The red-and-black point guard then led the counterattack and scored two points on a layup. The number 47 also had a strong performance. With 55 seconds remaining, Pato cut the red-and-black lead to three points. Decisive, Alexey hit the ball over the defense and scored two crucial points. In the last second, the home team hit a three-pointer and tied the game at 98-98, forcing overtime.
In the five extra minutes, Pato hit a three-pointer in the first minute, opening up a three-point lead. Lucas Siewert's six successful free throws gave Flamengo the lead, proving crucial to the 110-103 victory.
Next challenge
FlaBasquete returns to the court next Saturday (7) to face Brasília, at 18 pm, at the Maracanãzinho gym, in another important duel for the NBB.
