The National Basketball League (LNB) and the Asociación de Clubes de Basquetbol (ACB), from Argentina, have set the dates for the first edition of the Brazil/Argentina Interleague Tournament, a competition that will be played between the top four teams in each country's national championships, the NBB and the National Basketball League.

\

The eight teams will be divided into two quadrangular groups: the first in Brazil on April 06, 07, and 08, and the second in Argentina on April 09, 10, and 11. In the opening round, the first- and second-place teams in the NBB host the third- and fourth-place teams in the Argentine League. In the second group, the top two Argentine teams will face the other two Brazilian clubs.

\

In the first round of each quadrangular, the first-place team from one country faces the fourth-place team from the other, and the second-place team plays the third-place team. In the following round, the winners of the first matches face the losers. And on the final day, the winners of the first match face each other, as do the losers.

\

The champions of each quadrangular will play in the Interleague Tournament final on April 14th or 15th (date to be determined), to be held in Argentina. If two clubs of the same nationality reach the final, the final match will be played in the country of those teams.

\

The Interleague Tournament is intended to be held throughout the season. Therefore, in the next edition of the competition, the order of the quadrangular and final venues will be reversed.
