After thrilling games in the semifinal phase of the Liga das Américas, in Venezuela, Flamengo returned to Brazil with a guaranteed spot in the Final Four, ready to switch gears to the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). The current three-time champion defends its title and championship leadership in another qualifying phase challenge this Friday (04), against Pinheiros.
In the last round of the competition, both teams won against their opponents, who are fighting at the bottom of the table. While Rubro-Negro beat second-to-last Vitória by 101 to 53, at Tijuca Tênis Clube, Pinheiros overcame last-placed Macaé by the narrow score of 92 to 87, also playing at home, at the Poliesportivo Henrique Vilaboim gymnasium, where they will host Mais Querido tomorrow (04).
