Flamengo's standout performer in the final quarter of their 76-75 victory over San Martin Corrientes this Tuesday in the South American Basketball League, center JP Batista was another highlight of the team's spirit, especially in the final 10 minutes, when they overturned a score that had once been 11 points ahead of the Argentines. JP scored a total of 14 points in the game, the most important of which came late, helping the team tie the match. Furthermore, the number 13 had to "hold his own" from fouls, having played the entire half with four. At the end, he spoke about his teammates' performance and the importance of the victory. 

"Today we managed to take a giant step. A huge victory, where everyone gave their all. There's still a lot of room for improvement. This Corrientes team has already played several games and is very well prepared. We knew the difficulties, and we managed to turn around the poor start to the match," said JP, who recalled Marcelinho's important words that helped in the final turnaround.
