Determined, FlaBasquete is decisive in the end, defeats Minas and qualifies to compete for the BCLA trophy
Rubro-Negro faces the winner of the duel between Quimsa and Franca this Saturday, at 20:30 pm

On Friday night (14), FlaBasquete beat Minas in the semifinals of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA), 80-75, and qualified to compete for the title in the grand final, this Saturday (15). The ball goes up at 20:30 pm, again at the Pedrocão gym, in Franca, which hosts the Final Four of the competition. Rubro-Negro awaits the winner of the other semifinal, between Quimsa and Franca.
Flamengo's top scorer was Argentine Loku Cuello, who scored 19 points.

The game
Hettsheimeir opened the scoring in the paint, followed by Argentina's Aguirre and Cuello. The game remained evenly matched, with Flamengo narrowly ahead, but with four minutes remaining in the second quarter, Minas took the lead, which they held until the end of the period (22-15). Minas Gerais followed closely behind their opponent, leading the second half and closing in with a beautiful perimeter shot by Pepe Vildoza (36-34). The equalizer came with a Ricardo Fischer layup two minutes before halftime, and the comeback came from Cuello with a beautiful three-pointer (36-39). Minas Gerais went into the locker room leading 41-40, after a strong comeback in the fourth quarter (18-26).
In the third period, Minas managed to regain the lead, but the Rubro-Negro remained determined on the court, equalizing the score on several occasions and making a great comeback: they reached the last quarter winning 63 to 60. The last period was marked by alternating teams and the final reaction of Mais Querido, which was decisive in the last moments and guaranteed the spot showing race and resilience.
