David Cubillan is the maestro of the Flamengo squad this season. Dictating the pace of the games, the Venezuelan is improving with each match and gradually winning the hearts of the Flamengo fans. With dazzling crossovers and precise three-point shots, the point guard has become a fundamental piece of the team, and the numbers highlight the great performances of the number 8. 

In his NBB 10 debut against Paulistano, Cubillan was FlaBasquete's top scorer with 14 points, showing his first credentials to the fans. Facing Basquete Cearense came his best scoring performance in the Sacred Mantle. With a true show of drives and long-range shots, David finished the game with 24 points, including six three-pointers.

In terms of assists, Cubillan showcased his repertoire in the classic match against Botafogo. Putting his teammates in the best positions to score, the point guard recorded twelve assists, being one of the main reasons for the highest score of this edition of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), 107-54. 

With 46% shooting from beyond the arc, David is one of the competition's top performers in this attribute. His outstanding performances against Basquete Cearense (6/9), Minas (4/6), and Joinville (3/3) make him a lethal weapon in crucial moments, placing him among the top three shooters in this skill in NBB 10. 

All of David Alejandro Cubillan's positive statistics are the result of the star player's extensive training, as he is a regular member of the Venezuelan national team. At Flamengo, Cubillan is making his mark and turning games around, just as he does with his crossovers against opponents, leading FlaBasquete to the top of the standings and in pursuit of another national title.
