Two days after winning the Super 8, FlaBasquete turns its attention to the NBB
A week of matches at Maracanãzinho kicks off the second round of the competition

Less than 48 hours after winning the Copa Super 8 for the second time, coming from behind to beat São Paulo last Saturday, FlaBasquete returned to the court already focused on the second round of the NBB. From Tuesday (26) to Sunday (31), at the Maracanãzinho gymnasium, the Mais Querido faces three matches in the competition. The first, against Fortaleza Basquete Cearense, at 20 pm, broadcast by ESPN.

In his debut season with Manto Sagrado and, now, owner of two titles with Mengão (State and Super 8), Yago Mateus spoke about the expectations for the coming days.
"It's going to be an important week, and I think it's a chance to showcase the strength of our squad once again. We're coming off a win and need to switch gears for an important game tomorrow to continue fighting at the top of the league, which is our goal: to always be at the top, fight for the top spots, and compete for titles," said the point guard.
After the clash against Fortaleza, Orgulho da Nação will also face Unifacisa, on Thursday (28), at 20 pm, broadcast on DAZN, and Brasília, on Sunday (31), at 11 am.
