Duda had a rare experience. A self-confessed basketball star, the number 10 had to watch from the stands at the HSBC Arena as his teammates defeated Saldanha da Gama 109-72.

"It's a new situation. It's really bad to be left out. Thankfully, it was a relatively easy game. The score was a bit of a draw—even surprising for us, as we prepared all week for a tough game. I think that shows the strength of the group. Once again, after facing several difficulties, absences, and delayed salaries, we prepared for a tough game and managed a fairly easy result. In the first quarter, we were already up 20 points. So, it was just a matter of managing it. It shows the strength of the group and that the group is focused on the goal of winning another championship for Flamengo," commented the point guard.
According to Duda, he hopes to control himself more so as not to be suspended, which, according to him, was unfair.

"I'm sure the suspension wasn't fair because I got a technical foul without talking to him [the referee]. I was talking to Vítor. I didn't swear, I didn't verbally attack him, I didn't say anything to him, and the guy goes and kicks me out of the game, which was calm in a way. Players get suspended, coaches get suspended, and the referee is not there to judge. Next time I'll have to be careful with my words, figure out how to complain so it doesn't happen again," commented Marcelinho's brother.
Duda expects a very difficult game on Sunday, November 15th.

"There was a problem with the friendly there, so we have to be even more focused on our objective. They are definitely a direct opponent in our quest for the title, and we'll do everything we can to return home with another victory," he concluded.
