Helio began to stand out on the national basketball scene precisely at Londrina, and as a result, he has fond memories of his time there. However, his current mission is to defend the colors of Flamengo, where he has won three Rio de Janeiro titles, two national titles, and one South American title.

"It's where I started, I'm grateful, I really like the city and I have a special affection, without a doubt, for Londrina. But, when it's time to step on the court, all that goes aside. Afterwards I talk to the friends I made there and everything, but my focus is on victory," said the point guard.

The number 5 believes Flamengo can't afford to drop any more points at home, especially against an opponent at the bottom of the table. Londrina is 11th in the qualifying round, with just five wins in 20 games. Flamengo has 12 wins in 16 matches and is in second place.

"Expectations are very high. We're coming off a very important victory against Joinville, and the team is motivated. We can't afford to drop points, but Londrina is a tough team, difficult to play against, and we have to impose ourselves to get another victory," he said.

Center Coloneze is also looking forward to the game. He's been injured for over a month and can't wait to get back to playing. However, the red-and-black giant is cautious.

"I might play in tomorrow's game, but I'm definitely not playing until the next round. Medically, I'm cleared, but I still need more training to get in better physical condition. It's not worth playing without being 100%. But I believe that with a week of training and a string of games, I'll improve for the playoffs," he analyzed.
