FlaBasquete takes to the court once again for the NBB this Saturday (03). Playing at home, at Arena Carioca 1, the Mais Querido faces Paulistano, second place in the competition, at 14 pm. Riding a nine-game winning streak, Flamengo seeks to extend its lead in the championship with the support of the Rubro-Negra Nation.

Coach José Neto spoke to the Official Website about his expectations for the match between the top teams in the championship.

"They are a tough team, who played a good game in the last round and are coming off a painful elimination from the Liga das Américas. They are very motivated by that painful defeat, and Gustavo (De Conti) is a coach who knows how to motivate his players well. It will be a tough game, but we are prepared," the coach assessed.

In their last game, which marked Anderson Varejão's debut in the Sacred Mantle (Flamengo's jersey), the beloved team defeated Campo Mourão 92-69. MJ Rhett and David Cubillan were the top scorers for the Pride of the Nation, with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
