Aware of Mais Querido's responsibility in the national tournament, Rafael Hettsheimeir revealed some anxiety and said that the team will play with the goal of lifting the trophy in mind from the start.
"I'm looking forward to this debut. It's our first challenge in the championship and I'm happy to be wearing the Sacred Mantle at this moment. This season we won the Carioca and lost the Champions League, but now we have to look forward. We're working hard and want to start off on the right foot. We're going after the title," he emphasized.
Having spent three years at Gávea, Franco Balbi assessed the entire situation but was blunt in his statement. FlaBasquete's goal is to be at the top, and the team will spare no effort to achieve its goals.
"Last season we were in first place, but unfortunately, the pandemic interrupted that. Now we're going to debut in an atypical way, without the presence of the Nation, but knowing what we have to do to win. The road is long, but we have big goals. Our focus is to be champion," he confirmed.
