FlaBasquete entered the court on Saturday afternoon (08) and beat Mogi 74-69 at the Professor Hugo Ramos gymnasium, in São Paulo. With the result, Mais Querido achieved its 18th victory and remained in the lead of NBB 12. The red-black top scorer in the match was Marquinhos with 21 points.

The game
The first quarter began with the home team opening a five-point lead. Little by little, led by Marquinhos, the Pride of the Nation began to find its footing and took the lead. At the end of the quarter, Mogi finished ahead 24-22. Marquinhos was the standout for the Red-Blacks with eight points.

At the start of the second quarter, Mengão pressed the defense and forced mistakes from Mogi, scoring four more points in the opening seconds. The match remained fairly even, with both teams showing great intensity. Flamengo was efficient on the offensive rebounds and converted points. Rafael Mineiro also performed well, scoring nine points and helping out on the defensive rebounds. Mogi finished the period ahead 45-42.

In the third quarter, Olivinha and Balbi scored two three-pointers for "Mais Querido." Seconds later, Marquinhos hit his. Flamengo now heads to São Paulo to face Paulistano in the next round. The match takes place next Monday (10), at 20 pm, at the Antônio Prado Jr. gym.
