Facing Minas at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium, the Crias da Gávea team won 68-59 and remains in contention for first place in the tournament's first phase. Camargo, with 16 points, was the game's top scorer. Matheusinho (14 points and 6 rebounds), Ruan (13 points and 9 rebounds), and Sorriso (9 points and 14 rebounds) also stood out.

João Matheus Camargo, the game's top scorer for the second time in a row, spoke about the determining factor in the red-black victory.
"Our defense after halftime was crucial to the victory. We were able to distribute the points well among our attacking players. When we have this offensive strength, it's difficult to score. The championship is long, and we're focused on achieving the highest number of victories with the same determination as today," said the point guard.
The Most Beloved returns to the court this Thursday, against Palmeiras, at 18:30 pm, looking for another positive result in the championship.
