The game
Flamengo took the lead from the start of the game. With a great performance from JP Batista, the red-and-black team constantly exploited the opponent's paint, and in this way maintained their lead. At the end of the first half, the advantage was already established at 39-30.
After halftime, coach José Neto's team maintained their focus in the paint, but exploited three-point shots with Cubillan, Marquinhos, and Ronald Ramon. MJ Rhett came off the bench and stood out defensively, blocking two shots; the number 0 jersey was important in coach Neto's rotation. One of the highlights of the game was young João Vitor. The Flamengo youth player entered the game very well, scoring 8 points and grabbing 6 rebounds, making it his best game in the Flamengo jersey. At the final whistle, the score was 79-69, and FlaBasquete brought joy to the fans.
