On Tuesday night (January 14.01), Arena da Barra hosted a thrilling game for the New Basketball Brazil (NBB). In the direct confrontation between Flamengo and Bauru, the São Paulo team came out on top, winning 84-77, but the Rubro-Negro fought hard for the victory until the final moments before the final burst of the clock. The team's top scorer was shooting guard Marquinhos, with 18 points.

"Our team has been on a very strong run. Last year was a perfect season, but we can't relax. We know the quality of our team, but we have to be alert for the entire 40 minutes. It was a good, well-played game, and we lost, but we have to focus on the next battle, on Thursday, against Paulistano," said young point guard Gegê.

Tickets for this Thursday's game (15.01) are on sale at Easy Ticket website, at the Espaço Rubro-Negro stores in Norte Shopping, Via Parque and Nova América, as well as at the Arena da Barra ticket office.
