On Friday night (11), Flamengo's basketball team took to the court to face Bauru in the semifinals of the League of the Americas (LDA). FlaBasquete was beaten 83 to 81 by the São Paulo team in a balanced match until the final seconds.

In the first quarter, Olivinha opened the scoring for Flamengo with a three-point shot that thrilled the red-and-black team. Bauru didn't let it slide and managed to open a ten-point lead, but in the final minutes, the Mais Querido fought back and tied the quarter, which ended 24-24. In the second, Mengão began to press and impose its pace on the game, which strengthened defensively. The period ended with Flamengo partially leading 45-39, with Jerome Meyinsse scoring a standout performance, scoring ten points and five rebounds.
