Coach José Neto believes tonight's match was decided by the details. "They ended up hitting two three-pointers at a decisive moment. We have to forget about today's situation and focus on the next game. The team was spirited and fought until the end. The next opponent (São José) is very tough, but we're going after the win and fighting to maintain first place in the standings," he stated.
The coach also made a brief analysis of the remaining games until the end of the qualifying phase for the knockout stage.
"Now it's game by game. We have São José away from home, they play with great intensity, we'll work hard for this game. Next, we have Mogi, and then we return home against Minas. Finally, Macaé. We have one less loss than the second-place team, and we'll fight now to maintain our lead without depending on anyone but ourselves, so we can play as much time as possible at home in the playoffs."
