The game
With Vildoza's excellent aim, Flamengo started the match setting the pace, opening up a lead. Agile on offense and alert on defense, the red-and-black team closed the first quarter leading 25-14. In the second quarter, Corinthians staged a comeback and even took the lead, but the Pride of the Nation took the lead in the final moments before halftime and went into the locker room with a 52-36 lead.
Back on the court, the opponent started better and even opened up a good lead in the set, but Mais Querido came back and, with 100% success on Gabriel Jaú's shots, tied the game in the fourth quarter (18-18). In the last period, strong offensively and defensively, Flamengo had no trouble securing another victory in the national championship.
