In another great performance, Flamengo beat Mogi 87-56 in the NBB

In another great performance in the NBB, Orgulho da Nação beat Mogi das Cruzes 87-56 on Monday morning (28), at the Morumbi gymnasium, and secured their 13th victory in the competition. The red-black team's top scorer in the match was Hettsheimeir with 21 points.

The game
Mengão scored the first two points of the match, thanks to Hettsheimeir. Soon after, Rafael Mineiro hit his first three-pointer. With Yago on the court, the Rubro-Negro's main offensive plays went through the point guard's hands. In the final minutes, Mogi rallied and closed the gap. With a greater volume of play, FlaBasquete closed the first quarter 17-15.

In the second period, Leo Demetrio entered the court and quickly scored two more points for the Mais Querido. Following a well-worked offensive play, Rafael Mineiro drove into the paint and delivered a beautiful dunk to increase the lead. After Guerrinha's timeout, Mogi improved and closed the gap again. Hettsheimeir continued to excel, executing his pivot plays perfectly. Leo Demetrio and Chuzito hit two three-pointers, increasing the Flamengo lead once again. In the final seconds, Mineiro and Balbi made the lead even bigger with two three-pointers, sending Fla to halftime with a 47-27 lead.

In the third quarter, FlaBasquete maintained the same intensity and tight defense, hindering Mogi's offensive play. Leo Demetrio continued to shoot excellent three-pointers. The red-and-black team worked the ball well on offense and managed to convert points. In the final seconds, Marquinhos was fouled and went for three free throws, converting two. In another excellent quarter, Mengão closed with a 64-41 lead.

In the fourth quarter, right at the start, Hettsheimeir scored another three-pointer for the Red-Blacks. With complete dominance throughout the match and another excellent collective performance, FlaBasquete closed the match 87-56.
