Flamengo returns to action in the NBB this Thursday (23), at 20:45 pm, at the Centreventos Cau Hansen gymnasium, in Joinville. Facing the home team, Mais Querido faces another challenge valid for the qualifying phase of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). 

Joinville will host Flamengo, currently bottom of the table. The Santa Catarina team has only four wins in 16 matches. In their last match, the Joinville team suffered a 89-80 defeat to Minas TC.

"We're expecting a tough, physical game. Even though they're fighting at the bottom of the table, the Joinville team makes things very difficult at home. They like to run a lot. We've been training this week for this match, and it will be a tough fight, but we're motivated to continue this good momentum," said the number 16.

"Joinville is a team that played hard at the Arena in the first round. They had some ups and downs after that, but they're a high-quality, versatile team with great three-point shooting and a strong defense. So we have to be very careful in that regard. We prepared very well this week for a good game," said the coach.
