FlaBasquete has the red-black DNA! Less than a week before its debut in the NBB - and with the state title already won - the Ogulho da Nação launched, this Tuesday (11), the campaign that will guide the 22/23 season. Reformed, the team has six new athletes who, like the remaining ones, have the face of Mengão.

Besides possessing unparalleled grit and dedication, the players understand what it means to defend the Mantle and the responsibility of wearing the red-and-black jersey. They know what it means to be Flamengo and what it means to represent the fans on the court… and to be those fans in the stands. For the campaign launch, it was there that they came together, team and fans, showcasing the essence of the Rubro-Negro DNA.

Due to being called up to the Brazilian 3x3 basketball team, Gávea native Rafael Rachel was the only athlete not to participate in the photo shoot.

#12 Rafael Mineiro, power forward

The nation will be proud of me on the court because there are no loose balls. I will always give my all and do everything in my power—and more—to honor the Sacred Mantle for another season.

#16 Olivinha, power forward

The nation will be proud of me on the court for my commitment, dedication, drive and love that I demonstrate for the club and for the desire to overcome any challenge that lies ahead.
