Clube de Regatas do Flamengo announces that, at the request of the power forward, Marko Filipovity is no longer part of the professional squad of #FlaBasquete and is free to return to Hungary. For Flamengo, Marko played thirty-two times and was a Super 8 and Campeonato Carioca champion.

In a final message to the Nation, Marko thanked them for their support and spoke a little about the reasons for his decision.

"My family and I arrived at Flamengo in September very excited, with big plans. We received so much from Rio and Flamengo. Our daughter was born here, which is a blessing. But our routine took its toll; my wife and I weren't prepared for the day-to-day in this new reality, and we were struggling. I wish all the best to the team and the fans, who treated us so well. I believe Flamengo will still achieve a lot this year," concluded the Hungarian.
