After two victories on the "tour" in São Paulo, Flamengo takes to the court this Saturday (10) for its last match outside of Rio de Janeiro in the regular season of NBB 10. Facing Mogi das Cruzes, at 14 pm, Mais Querido seeks its eighth consecutive victory and further consolidates itself at the top of the table. In case of victory, Flamengo is already guaranteed, at least, second place in the final classification.
In the final match of the competition, the Red-Blacks defeated Pinheiros 78-67. JP Batista was the star of the match, scoring 22 points. The center also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists.
The competition's top scorer and a strong candidate for the season's MVP award, winger Marquinhos spoke about the latest rounds of the NBB and the match against the Mogi team.
"We have to dream big; it's always like that at Flamengo. If there's a chance of taking first place, why not? We'll face Mogi with the same goal as always, which is to play a good game and come out victorious. We know it's difficult to play there, but we're ready for it," he added.
