Flamengo's youth basketball team (U-19) defeated Vasco by a margin of almost 20 points and secured qualification for the semifinals of the State Championship. The game, valid for the second leg of the State Championship quarterfinals, was held this Monday (24.10), at the AABB club, in Tijuca, and ended 69 to 47 for Flamengo.

The red-and-black team entered the court focused and managed a strong first quarter. In the second quarter, the opponent pressed, and Flamengo allowed the Cruzmaltino team to close the score. The red-and-blacks returned for the third quarter more focused and managed to take the lead again, managing the advantage and winning the game. Flamengo's top scorer was Robert Dias with 23 points. This weekend, the youth, children's and junior teams will compete in the semifinals of the competition at the Hélio Maurício Gymnasium in Gávea. The youth (under-13) and children's (under-15) teams will face Jequiá on Saturday (October 28.10) at 12:13 p.m. and 45:17 p.m., respectively. The children's (under-29.10) team will play against América de Três Rios on Sunday (October 11) at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m.
