Rubro-Negro wins again in the NBB to enter the playoffs strong

Flamengo's basketball team won again in the New Basketball Brazil (NBB) tonight in Mogi das Cruzes. At the Professor Hugo Ramos Gymnasium, Flamengo faced the home team and won 64-86, remaining two wins ahead of the tournament. Marquinhos led the way with 20 points.
"Our team is like a family because we're always together and spend more time training and playing than at home. I think that's the secret to this successful season," Olivinha revealed, recalling Flamengo's record-breaking season. The center had 12 rebounds in the game.
José Neto's team started well in the first quarter, but the two teams subsequently played a lukewarm game, closing with a 10-11 lead in the second quarter. After halftime, Flamengo dictated the pace and opened up a lead that their opponents were unable to close.
"This game was a little different from our last one against them, when we played at home. Back then, they really pressed their defense, and our attack couldn't perform well. Today was different. We fixed our defense and secured another victory," analyzed Benite, who completed three assists in the match.
The Most Beloved returns to the NBB on Thursday (7.03) against the Sorocabana League. The game will be at Tijuca Tênis Clube at 20 pm.
