The FlaBasquete Sub-17 team already has a set date for the next cup challenge. This Friday (29), the red-blacks will take to the court for the Unimed Super Four, which will be played until Sunday at the Tênis Clube Campinas gymnasium. In addition to the home team, Obras Sanitarias (ARG) and Pinheiros will also be fighting for the title. This will be the first edition of the tournament with a quadrangular format.

"It will be a very good tournament with high-level teams. Everyone plays against everyone else in the first round, and the top two advance to the final. It will be a great test for our team; we will be playing against very strong athletes. Unfortunately, I will not have power forward Ruan, who is in Mexico doing some training at the NBA camp. I will bring ten athletes from the U-17 team and two from the U-15 team to complete the squad. It will be a good opportunity for them to develop their basketball skills, gain experience, and for us to continue the Carioca Championship when we return to Rio," said Marcos Beegu, Flamengo's coach.

"We should have more tournaments like this throughout the year, as they provide a lot of valuable experience. Playing against teams from abroad is always welcome. So let's make the most of this opportunity. The team is doing well, we're undefeated in the State Championship, with a good campaign and a good squad. I hope to learn new things from the clubs there, trying to provide us with more variety in training and fundamentals," the coach added.
