Flamengo's basketball academy continues to post positive results and excel in the final stage of the Campeonato Carioca qualifying round. In the final rounds before the next stage of the tournament, all teams won at Gávea.

Last Monday (28), it was the turn of the U-13, 15 and 17 teams to enter the court against Tijuca. With good matches and great performances, the red-blacks won by 48 to 23, 81 to 31 and 54 to 52, respectively.

For the U-14 and U-19 teams, the challenge of the last round was a classic. Against Vasco at home on Thursday (30), Flamengo beat their opponents 61-30 and 79-62.

The last rounds already have a date set for the under-13, 15 and 17 teams, who return to the court on Sunday (3) and the following Saturdays (9 and 16), concluding the qualifying phase.  

The Flamengo Regatas Club basketball teams receive funding from their sponsors – Estácio, AmBev, Rede D'or, IRB Brasil RE, CSN, Brasil Plural, and EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), as well as support from the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources generated by the Pelé Law. The Flamengo Guardian Angel Project, a personal tax transfer, benefits all Olympic sports of the Most Beloved Club.
