Basketball youth teams win Fla-Flu
U-13, U-15 and U-17 played against Tricolor last Monday (18)

The boys from the red-black basketball base entered the court this past Monday (18.04), at home, in Gávea. The under-13, under-15 and under-17 teams faced teams from their respective Fluminense categories in the State Championship, winning two victories in three games.
The under-13 team beat the Tricolores by 39 to 36, and the under-15 team crushed their respective rival team by 79 to 30. The under-17 team narrowly missed out on victory, losing to Fluminense by 68 to 71.
The three Flamengo teams will return to the court together at the beginning of May (7), to face Vasco da Gama's respective categories.
The youth basketball teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – CSN (Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional), Banco Bonsucesso and Brasil Brokers – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
