Flamengo's under-13 and under-17 basketball teams took to the court this Saturday (08.08) for the State Championship, and won their matches, this time playing at home. Both red-and-black teams faced Vasco. See how the matches went:
The under-13 team was the first to take the court, defeating their opponent by a margin of 25 points. The final score was 54-29. The under-17 team also overcame Vasco by a significant margin of points, finishing the match 63-40.
The under-15 game, which would also face Vasco on Saturday (08.08), was postponed, as some athletes in the category are competing in the Brazilian Championship for the Carioca team.
The next challenge for the red-black basketball base is this Wednesday (12.08). The under-17 team faces Instituto Nautilus in the State Basketball Championship.
