The Pride of the Nation is ready to debut in 2022! This Sunday (09), at 18 pm, FlaBasquete hosts Pinheiros at Maracanãzinho. The match is valid for the penultimate round of the NBB classification phase and will be broadcast live on FlaTV. Tickets are already on sale, with prices starting at 15 reais, at flamengo.superingresso.com.br. Ticket office 2 will be open between 13pm and 19pm on the day of the match.

Mais Querido's last match was against Cerrado, in Brasília (DF), on December 30, won by Rubro-Negro by 91 to 75. Next in Rio de Janeiro, Mengão also faces Bauru, on Tuesday (11), in the last match before the Super 8 Cup.

"We have two very tough games now, which conclude the first round. These are two teams that are among the eight that qualified for the Super 8, so this shows the strength and quality of these teams. Each in its own way, but with some similarities, like their physical play. A very physical game from Bauru, a very physical game from Pinheiros. We've been training hard this week, especially with these two games in mind and to secure at least second place in this first round," analyzed coach Gustavo De Conti.
