Leandrinho's long-awaited Flamengo debut takes place this Sunday (October 09.10th) at 11 a.m. in a friendly against Brasília at the Nilson Nelson Stadium in Brasília. Along with him, the club's three new signings this season will also be wearing the red-and-black jersey for the first time in a derby – and in the biggest rivalry in Brazilian basketball. Argentine Kammerichs, bronze medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, American David Jackson and Brazilian national team center Caio Torres arrived at Flamengo in the second half of the year and have so far only played in the State Championship matches.

"Expectations are as high as possible. These are two great teams, and it's sure to be a hard-fought game," said Kammerichs, who already knew some players from both teams before arriving at Flamengo. "I knew some players from the South American League," he said.

For Caio Torres, the game will have the air of a final.
