FlaBasquete gained three illustrious fans on Monday night (24). Mariana Brochado, former red-black swimmer, and Gabi and Fabi, champions of the Women's Volleyball Super League on Sunday, attended the great red-black result against Pinheiros, which left the Pride of the Nation one victory away from the semifinal.

A ten-time Superliga champion and twelve seasons in Rio de Janeiro, libero Fabi makes no secret of her passion for Flamengo. With the end of the national championship, the Flamengo fan returned to Tijuca Tênis Clube, home of the Pride of the Nation and Rio, to support Flamengo and her friends on the court.

"Wherever Flamengo is, I follow it. I'm a Flamengo fan and I'm passionate about the team. Flamengo fans, after soccer, have embraced basketball to support them. We came here to cheer for them, and I hope we get lucky. I'm a close friend of Olivinha, a childhood friend of mine from Flamengo's youth academy. It's a source of great pride to see him shining in the Flamengo jersey. As a passionate Flamengo fan, I'm here as a fan," commented Fabi.

Gabi arrived in Rio in 2012 from a club in Belo Horizonte. Since then, the outside hitter has established herself on the team and was one of the standout performers in the Women's Superliga title.

"I've been here in Rio de Janeiro for five years now, and thanks largely to Fabi's encouragement, who is a Flamengo fan and passionate about it, I've been able to follow Flamengo both in soccer and basketball. I have two great friends on the team, Marquinhos and Fischer, and I'm a huge fan of them. It's really cool to see Flamengo playing here in Tijuca, which is also our home. I identify deeply with Flamengo and Rio; I'm now rooting for Flamengo. I'm passionate about basketball, and the sport is increasingly winning my heart," said Gabi.
