Now it's home! The reigning Champions League champion and two-time champion of the Americas, FlaBasquete, will host the final stage of the competition. The quarterfinals, semifinals, and final will be played at Maracanãzinho from April 6th to 9th.

"I'm personally very happy because it's always good to be close to the fans. Last year, we won the Champions League very far from here, and it was still a hell of a party," said coach Gustavo De Conti. "It's step by step; we're on a very tough run; they're the best teams in the Americas. We respect everyone, but we believe the nation can make a huge difference in this Final 8, packing Maracanãzinho and supporting us. I think everything can be much easier if the nation is on our side, and they will be," he added.

Captain Olivinha, two-time world champion with FlaBasquete, also celebrated the news.

"It's wonderful. I'm already dreaming of a packed Maracanãzinho stadium full of red-and-black fans cheering us on. We have a super important quarterfinal match against Minas Gerais, a very difficult match, and we're counting on our fans to play together to win. Playing at home, that's all we have to think about," the star assured.

The Mais Querido, placed first in Group D, will face Minas Gerais in the first decisive match. São Paulo is the third Brazilian team to qualify. Among the foreign teams, Boca Juniors (ARG), Biguá (URU), Cangrejeros (PRI), Quimsa (ARG), and Real Estelí (NIC), the finalist in the last edition, are the other contenders.

The matches will take place on April 6th, 7th, and 9th. All quarterfinals will be played on the first day of competition, with the semifinals the following day. The third-round and final matches will be held on Saturday, the 3th.
