Flamengo already knows its group in the Liga das Américas. The Red-Black team is in Group C, which features the champion of the South American League, the winner of the Chilean Championship, and Mavort, from Ecuador. If Flamengo wins the South American League title, the second-place team in the tournament will automatically qualify. The group will be based in Ibarra, Ecuador.

Flamengo's debut will be on January 11th, against the league champion (or runner-up). On the 12th, Flamengo faces Mavort, and on the 13th, the Chilean team.

A total of 16 teams, divided into four groups, compete in the competition. Two teams from each group qualify for the next stage. In the second stage, two quadrangulars will be played (South, from February 1st to 3rd, and North, from February 8th to 10th), and the top two teams from each quadrangular will compete in a Final Four, from February 22nd to 24th.
