The final stage of the South American League brought together four teams in search of the title. However, in the final round, which will take place this Thursday (December 06.12th), only Flamengo and Regatas Corrientes (ARG), who will face each other starting at 23 pm, have a chance of taking home the championship trophy. The red-and-black team only needs a victory, but the match between Brasília and Peñarol (ARG), to be held at 21 pm, will still decide how much the Mais Querido will have to win.

According to the competition rules, Flamengo may need to win by 13 points over Regatas Corrientes if Brasília defeats their opponent. If Peñarol overcomes the Brazilian team, a simple victory will be enough for Flamengo to secure their second title. Both matches will be broadcast live on Sportv 3.

Flamengo coach José Neto knows it will be a very tough match against the home team, but he promises a very dedicated Flamengo team to bring the second championship to Gávea.

"It will be a very tough match, we know the difficulties. Regatas is a strong team, very well-organized and has the advantage of playing at home. But we are prepared and it only depends on ourselves to win the title," said coach José Neto.
