By Media Relations - inThe Flamengo youth basketball team defeated Vasco, at home, this Wednesday (19.10), by 69 to 43, in the first game of the quarterfinals of the State Championship. With a great performance, Flamengo's top scorer was Felipe Ranieri, with 23 points.
\The match started evenly, with both teams alternating the lead. In the second quarter, Flamengo prevailed and took a large lead: 23-5. After halftime, Vasco tried to close the gap, but failed. Flamengo managed the end of the match, demonstrating superiority, and secured the victory.
\The second quarter-final game will be on Monday (24.10), against Vasco, at 20 pm, at the AABB gym, in Tijuca.
