Flamengo's basketball team takes to the court this Thursday (24.01), at 20 pm, against Paulistano, at the Tijuca Tênis Clube gymnasium, for the 16th round of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). The Rubro-Negro, current leader of the competition, with 28 points, will be looking for records.

 

With 14 wins in 14 games, José Neto's team continues to approach the record of 17 wins in the first phase of the championship. Flamengo's record, set by Flamengo in the 2008/2009 season, has a good chance of being surpassed. Flamengo has already surpassed the record for the best start to a NBB season, held by Brasília, with eight consecutive wins, in the second edition of the competition.

 

For the match against Paulistano, José Neto is expected to see the debut of newly signed winger Bruno Zanotti, wearing the number 25 jersey. Tickets for the match cost R$20. Fans wearing Mengão jerseys pay half price. A signed jersey of the debutant will be raffled among the paying public.
