Flamengo will debut in the State Championship on September 17th against Iguaçu at the Hélio Mauricio Gymnasium in Gávea. The competition also features Macaé and Tijuca. In the first phase, the teams will face each other in home and away matches. The two matches against Iguaçu, however, will be played in Gávea.
