Flamengo's coach, Paulo Chupeta, attributed the unfavorable result to the withdrawal of Daniel and Alisson due to the number of fouls they committed.

"The game was very competitive until the second quarter, but in the third, the team fell apart, losing Daniel and Alisson, key players, and the bench wasn't as effective as it had been. Macaé took advantage, opening up a 10-point lead, and then it was difficult to reverse," he explained.

The second game of the finals is scheduled for next Friday, the 13th, in Macaé, at 19 p.m. If Flamengo wins, there will be a third game on the 17th, at the Gávea headquarters, at 19:30 p.m., which will determine the champion.
