Fla takes second place in the Under-14 State Basketball Championship
The red-black team had a great campaign, but was defeated by Tijuca in the final

Flamengo took to the court this Monday (29.10), against Tijuca, in a match valid for the final of the State Under-14 basketball championship. The red-black boys fought until the end, but ended up defeated by 59 to 52, taking second place in the competition.
Flamengo is still fighting for the State title in three other categories. The U-13, U-15, and U-17 teams are in the semifinals and will take to the court on November 10th. The U-13 teams face Tijuca in Gávea at 11 a.m., the U-15s face Clube Central at the same venue at 12:30 p.m., while the U-17s close out the 'round' of matches at 14 p.m.
