Or tournament by tournament. As Benite confirmed after the match:
"The next step is São José away from home, and we have to rest. Starting next week, our focus is entirely on the Liga das Américas. All the teams in the competition have very high-level players. It's a championship that demands greater concentration. We'll be 100% focused on that."
The Mais Querido took to the court with Gegê, Marquinhos, Benite, Caio, and Olivinha. "It was a good match for us to test the strength of our team. The players who came on helped the group a lot. It was an important victory against one of the most offensive teams in the championship," concluded coach José Neto.
For Olivinha, the defense ensured their unbeaten run. "It was tough in the first half. Offensively, we weren't very good. We managed to hold on defensively. The guys coming off the bench came out with a lot of energy and gave a huge boost to those on the court. Kojo is very important, dictating the pace of the game and pacing the counterattack. Even though he wasn't 100%, he played well, and because of him, we performed very well on the counterattacks."
