Flamengo will return to the court, against Palmeiras, next Thursday (21.11), at 20 pm, at Ginásio Palestra Itália, for the third round of the New Basketball Brazil (NBB).

Leader in assists in Mais Querido's last game, against Goiânia, last Saturday (16.11), Gegê promises a strong desire to win, as it is always difficult to get a good result as a visitor.

"We definitely miss the fans. Every away game is more difficult, especially when it's a derby like this one against Palmeiras. Winning this match is very important to continue our work. We're going into the game very focused on victory," declared the Flamengo point guard.

Coach José Neto highlighted the good preparation of the green and white team.

"We're going to play against an opponent who's in very good form, having started the season earlier, thanks to the Campeonato Paulista, with a squad that's been together since last season. It's a team we need to be alert to in order to play well and get our first away win," said Neto.
