Fla defeats Botafogo in the youth basketball divisions
Rubro-negro beat their rivals in the State Championship in the youth and children's competitions and reached the semi-finals

The youth divisions of the red-and-black basketball team had impressive results last weekend. The youth (under-13) and youth (under-15) teams defeated Botafogo, 80-41 and 78-72, respectively, and reached the state semifinals.
Flamengo's youth team had no trouble winning the match. They opened up a large lead in the opening quarters and managed to keep their scoring high until the end. Flamengo's top scorer was Bernardo Campos, with 15 points. Now, the team awaits the result of the match between Jequiá and Central, which will take place this Tuesday (October 11.10), to find out who they will face in the semifinals.
Flamengo's youth team, on the other hand, played a more evenly matched match against the black-and-white team. The second quarter was difficult, and Flamengo went into the locker room having to make some adjustments. After halftime, Flamengo managed to open up a lead, securing the victory. Flamengo's standout performer was Matheus Santos, with 18 points. The youth semifinal will be against Jequiá, but the date has not yet been set.
