In a balanced match, Marquinhos made the difference with a great performance in the second half and 73,3% success rate. The winger was the game's top scorer with 22 points - the same score as he had in the first match -, in addition to grabbing seven rebounds and giving five assists to his teammates.

With less than 29 minutes of action and 22 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals, Marquinhos registered a 31-point efficiency rating, the current NBB CAIXA MVP's best mark of the season. Besides the forward, the quality of point guards Ronald Ramon and Ricardo Fischer also tipped the scales for the Rubro-Negro: while the Dominican played for almost 35 minutes and contributed 19 points, the Brazilian came off the bench to score ten points, five rebounds, and four assists.
