Already guaranteed a place in the final stage of the Champions League Americas, FlaBasquete seeks to consolidate its 1st place in Group D of the competition this weekend. The direct confrontation against Boca Juniors on Saturday (12) defines the group classification, but the Pride of the Nation faces Universidad de Concepción first, on Friday (11). Both matches take place in the Chilean city, starting at 18 pm and broadcast live on ESPN.

"We expect each team, especially Boca Juniors, to come out with a lot of intensity, but we'll focus on our first game against Concepción, which is a tough team, playing at home, and doesn't want to come out weak," said forward Brandon Robinson. "We have to focus on ourselves, play with energy this weekend, and I think we'll come away with two wins."

The reigning champion, FlaBasquete, is seeking its second Basketball Champions League Americas title. In 2014, the Rubro-Negro won the Liga das Américas, the previous version of the BCLA. That same year, it won its first world title and, in February 2022, secured its second title by defeating San Pablo Burgos in Egypt. The final stage of the competition begins on April 6th, with the venue yet to be determined.
