Flabasquete decides the tenth state championship in Gávea

Flamengo could become the tenth state basketball champion on Tuesday night (October 28.10). Flamengo fans will be able to celebrate Flamengo Fans' Day by watching the Rio de Janeiro state championship final against Macaé at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium in the Gávea social headquarters. Tickets will be sold at the gymnasium entrance at the game for R$30 (half-price: R$15). Anyone wearing a Flamengo shirt will also pay half-price. Flamengo fans will enter via Gilberto Cardoso Street.
The Pride of the Nation is the current state, Brazilian, South American, and world champion, and has just returned from three friendly matches in the NBA preseason, having been the first team from Latin America to be invited by the American League. The next challenge is to win the tenth consecutive state championship, a feat that the team led by Kanela, one of the greatest basketball coaches in the history of the country, achieved between 1951 and 1960.
